Steve Carroll

I am a fully-qualified and DBS-checked teacher and educator with years of classroom and exam experience that I can use to help your child achieve their potential and more in English. I have worked successfully in a variety of schools and educational settings with a very wide range of people since 1995. I believe in the potential of each individual and I enjoy helping students to understand the skills and knowledge they need in order to do better in English, a subject that I am passionate about. My full-time work as a teacher allows me to give the most up-to-date support and to understand best the needs of your child in order to help them most effectively.

My work as a creative professional has included working as a published poet, spoken word performer, community artist and writer with schools and numerous other organisations. I have developed and run innovative arts projects as a freelance arts professional and also as the first Regional Co-ordinator for the national poetry organisation Apples & Snakes. As well as developing artists I have set up and run many spoken word events and tours.
